形態特徵

• Annuals. Stems puberulous along a line decurrent from sheath.
• Leaves sessile to subpetiolate; blade lanceolate, 5.5-8 by 1.5-2 cm, apex acuminate, base oblique, puberulous, scabrescent on margins; sheath with red stripes, puberulous or pilose on margins.
• Inflorescences terminal, upper cincinnus with 1 male or bisexual flower; lower cincinnus with 1-3 bisexual flowers; spathe broadly cordate, folded, 1.7-2.6 by 2.5 cm, apex acute, base cordate, puberulous; bracteoles falling early; peduncle 1.7-2.5 cm long; pedicel ca. 3-4 mm long, erect in anthesis, bent in fruit. Flowers bisexual; sepals 3, elliptic, concave, unequal, anticous two basally fused, elliptic, 4.5-5 by 3-3.7 mm, glabrous; posticous one lanceolate, ca. 4.5 by 2.2 mm; petals 3, unequal, lateral petals 2, indigo, planar, clawed, limb broadly ovate, ca. 10 by 8-10 mm, apex acute, base cuneate to cordate; medial petal white, ca. 6 by 2 mm; fertile stamens 3, anticous, unequal; anthers of lateral two maroon or indigo, ellipsoid, base sagittate, ca. 2 mm long; filament 10-12 mm long; anther of medial one yellow, ellipsoid, base hastate, ca. 2.5 mm long; filament 5-6 mm long; staminodes 3, posticous, all alike, antherodes cruciate, ca. 2 mm long, filaments ca. 3 mm long, with 2 lateral abortive pollen sacks; ovary ellipsoid, ca. 2 mm long; style ca. 1.3 cm long.
• Capsules bilocular, 2-valved, dehiscent, brown, ellipsoid, 6-7 mm long, locules 2-seeded, glabrous. Seeds brown, deltoid, 2.5-3.5 by ca. 2.5 mm, reticulate, scrobiculate.

• 台灣 : moist, semishaded to open places, 350-2,400 m.
• 世界 : Throughout the north temperate zone; in Asia in China, Japan, Korea.
